The technologist is responsible for setting up and calibrating monitoring equipment and applying electrodes for polysomnographic testing. They monitor patient safety, record physiological data, and score sleep/wake stages according to AASM standards.
Requires a High School Diploma or GED, with an Associate degree or healthcare credential preferred. Candidates must obtain RPSGT registration within 2-3 years of hire and maintain BLS certification.
Certifications and Licensures

Associate degree preferred; or BRPT approved healthcare credential for board eligibility preferred.
