Overview

Griffin Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Radiological Technologist to join our team. This leadership role is essential in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services while supporting and guiding a team of technologists in a collaborative healthcare environment.

Main Function

Under the supervision of a Radiologist, the Radiological Technologist performs a variety of technical and professional procedures in the application of prescribed ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis and therapy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with provider orders and departmental protocols
  • Ensure quality control and optimal patient care
  • Maintain compliance with safety standards and regulatory guidelines
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to support clinical excellence

Education & Certification

  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Connecticut State License required
  • Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Experience

  • One (1) year clinical experience as a staff radiographer. Will train new graduate of a JRCERT approved program for Diagnostic Radiology.
  • Strong technical skills

Requirements

Candidates must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and hold a Connecticut State License. An Associate’s degree is required, and at least one year of clinical experience is preferred.
