The Surgical First Assistant functions as a first assistant during surgical incision, excision, and repair of pathology throughout the perioperative period. They are responsible for supporting the mission, vision, and values of the organization while providing high-quality surgical care.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, completion of a surgical technician training program, and a CSFA program. Additionally, at least two years of surgical technician experience and current CPR and ACLS certifications are required.
