As a Registered Nurse, the individual is primarily accountable for nursing coordination and providing individualized care to patients of all ages, utilizing delegation and critical thinking skills in a collaborative team approach. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, administering treatments and medications accurately, and identifying patient/family educational needs.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited professional nursing school and currently licensed or eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse in Virginia, requiring AHA BLS-HCP certification. Essential requirements also include computer skills necessary for using electronic medical records like EPIC.
