Waikiki Health is seeking a part-time and full-time Mid-Level Provider

Pay rate for this role is $111,000 annually

Schedule: Full-time, M-Sat

The provider provides independent management of the care of adult and pediatric patients; provides supervision for the care delivered by the physician assistants and nurse practitioners; and assists in clinic teaching and administrative responsibilities. Provider may clinically supervise mid-level providers.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of a certified medical or osteopathic school.1 year of work experience as a physician in a primary care clinic preferred.
  • Must meet CME requirements for licensure.
  • Current license to practice medicine in Hawaii.
  • Current DEA and Hawaii Narcotics Enforcement Division licensure.
  • Must be able to work with multi-ethnic and multi-cultural staff and clients.
  • Must be eligible for credentialing with Quest and the majority of other third party payers the clinic participates with.
  • Must be fluent in English.
  • For Mid-level Providers
  • Graduate of a certified Physician Assistant (PA) program.
  • One year of work experience as a PA in a primary clinic preferred.
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in Hawaii.
  • General Duties include but are not limited to
  • Provides comprehensive outpatient care with the ability to consult and/or refer to other health care providers/services/agencies as necessary.
  • Maintains charting in accordance with legal and clinic standards.
  • Dispenses medications from within clinic supply in accordance with legal and clinic standards.
  • Inoculates and vaccinates patients to immunize against communicable diseases.
  • Participates in health center and professional quality assurance plans/activities, data collection and analysis.
  • Other duties as assigned

*Waikiki Health requires proof of the following immunization; with or without reasonable accommodation: TB skin test or chest x-ray, Hep B (optional).

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of a certified medical, osteopathic, or physician assistant program with a current Hawaii license. One year of primary care experience is preferred, along with valid DEA and Hawaii Narcotics Enforcement Division licensure.
