The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for operating and maintaining radiologic equipment to perform accurate imaging studies for diagnosis and treatment. They also assist clinical staff with patient care, documentation, and maintaining a clean and safe clinical environment.
Candidates must hold an Associate degree or Certificate in Radiologic Technology and possess current ARRT credentials and BLS certification. At least one year of experience in radiology is preferred, along with pediatric experience.
Knowledge of the principles and practices of diagnostic radiographic procedure. Knowledge of how disease and injuries are diagnosed and imaged radiographically. Knowledge of human anatomy. Ability to set up, operate, clean, and troubleshoot radiographic equipment. Ability to notice detail in drawings and differences in shapes and shading. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
