The Physical Therapist will conduct patient assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide hands-on therapy to restore movement and function. They will also collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and educate patients on home exercise programs to ensure optimal recovery.
Candidates must hold a Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program and possess an active Missouri Physical Therapist license. Strong communication and patient-care skills are required, with CPR certification preferred.
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our rehabilitation team. The PT will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and help restore movement, function, and quality of life. This role involves working closely with patients and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal recovery outcomes. Key Responsibilities Conduct patient assessments to diagnose movement impairments and functional limitations. Develop personalized treatment plans using evidence-based physical therapy techniques. Provide hands-on therapy, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and mobility training. Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and rehabilitation strategies. Track and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals for holistic patient care. Stay informed about the latest advancements in physical therapy and participate in continuing education. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and ethical standards in patient care. Qualifications Education: Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
Active and valid Physical Therapist license in Missouri.
Prior experience in occupational therapy (preferred but not required).
Strong communication, problem-solving, and patient-care skills.
CPR certification (preferred). Work Environment PRN (as-needed) position with flexible scheduling. Skilled Nursing Facility. Ability to work independently while maintaining a high standard of care.
