Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and compassionate PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team on an as-needed basis. In this role, you will assist Occupational Therapists in providing therapeutic interventions to help patients improve their ability to perform daily activities, enhance mobility, and promote independence. Key Responsibilities Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist. Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, functional activities, and adaptive techniques to improve daily living skills. Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and assistive devices. Monitor and document patient progress, reporting any changes to the Occupational Therapist. Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with facility and regulatory standards. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure a well-rounded approach to patient care. Adhere to ethical, professional, and compliance standards in occupational therapy services.

  • Education: Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.

Licensure

Active and valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in Missouri.

Certification

NBCOT certification (preferred).

Experience

Prior experience in rehabilitation or clinical settings preferred.

Skills

Strong communication, interpersonal, and patient-care skills.

Certifications

CPR certification (preferred). Work Environment PRN (as-needed) position with flexible scheduling. Skilled Nursing Facility Requires adaptability and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a care team. Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly wage based on experience. Requirements
