The physician is responsible for directing and coordinating care for injured workers, including diagnosis, treatment, and prevention. They also act as a consultant to employers, insurance adjusters, and nurse case managers while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
The candidate must be a qualified Physician (MD/DO) capable of managing occupational health cases according to DWC, ACOEM, and OSHA guidelines. They are expected to follow aggressive return-to-work philosophies in a standard office setting.
