The Medical Assistant will perform clinical tasks such as recording vitals, collecting lab specimens, and assisting providers with examinations and procedures. They are also responsible for maintaining exam rooms, sterilizing equipment, and documenting patient information in electronic medical records.
Candidates must have completed a medical assisting program or equivalent and hold a BLS certification. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and 1-3+ years of clinical medical assisting experience are required.

Our Medical Assistants are responsible for carrying out various clinical tasks as delegated by a provider. The ideal candidate should be a professional with relevant experience in the medical field, ensuring the efficient and effective support of healthcare professionals in delivering quality patient care.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Experience: Successful completion of a medical assisting program or equivalent BLS Certified Strong communication skills Passion for helping others Technologically proficient High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry Experience in healthcare, customer service or administrative role Ability to remain calm and compassionate in a fast-paced setting Team-oriented mindset Desirable Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Experience: Medical Assistant certification Knowledge of clinical procedures (vitals, injections, EKGs, specimen collection) Understanding of medical terminology, anatomy and basic pharmacology Familiarity with EMR/HER systems Knowledge of infection control, OSHA and safety protocols Prior Work Experience:
Clinical Medical Assistant experience 1-3+ years, specialty practice experience such as working in a Urological practice, and patient-facing healthcare roles that may have transferable skills.
Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, reach and grasp using hands and arms. Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, climb (not more than 6’ high), and lift/push/pull up to 20 lbs. without assistance and up to 50 lbs. with assistance. Visual and hearing acuity required to receive and act on instructions and use a telephone and computer. Requires repetitive hand motion (keyboarding and operating a mouse).
Exhibits strong initiative, personal accountability, and ability to independently identify improvement opportunities. This position is full-time, 40 hours per week, and will work Monday through Thursday 7:30 am to 5:00 pm and Friday 7:30 am to 11:30 am. If traveling between offices during the workday, employees are paid for travel time and mileage.
