The Advanced Provider will serve as a critical member of the emergency department care team, delivering high-quality medical care to patients. They will work across Methodist Hospital campuses to provide clinical support and collaborate with sub-specialty teams.

The Opportunity Seeking Emergency Department/Urgent Care Center physician assistants and nurse practitioners. One (1) year of EM experience is preferred but will consider a new grad with multiple EM rotations. Current national certification, DEA, ACLS, BLS, and PALS are preferred. Current IN state license is a plus. Providers will be cross credentialed at Methodist Hospital Northlake and Southlake Campuses. Candidates wanting to work in an academic setting with current residents desired. The Practice – A Dual-Hospital System Methodist Hospital, Southlake Campus – Merrillville, Indiana Methodist Hospital Northlake Campus – Gary, Indiana 400-bed hospital with 28-bed Emergency Department. Annual ED volume of 36,000 with a 20%25 admit rate. All core sub-specialty backup available excluding ophthalmology. Multiple cath lab and OR suites as well as Intervention Radiology. Comprehensive Stroke Center; patients requiring thrombectomy get transferred. Methodist Hospitals ranked #1 in Indiana for Racial Inclusivity. Requirements

Candidates must be physician assistants or nurse practitioners, with one year of emergency medicine experience preferred. Current national certification, DEA, ACLS, BLS, and PALS are preferred, and Indiana state licensure is a plus.
