The caregiver provides direct support and assistance with daily living activities, personal care, and behavioral development for individuals with complex injuries. They are also responsible for maintaining accurate documentation, ensuring workplace safety, and managing individual health care needs.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license. Six months of experience in human services is preferred, and the ability to perform heavy physical work is required.
Maintains healthy and professional relationships with individuals, friends, families, guardians and case managers; greets family members and other visitors; implements Network Customer Service Standards.
Reports any instance of alleged abuse or neglect according to internal and external standards; reports medical, behavioral and other incidents in accordance with Network policy and external requirements.
Checks water temperature as required when assisting with bathing; participates in safety drills and protects persons being served in the event of emergency.
