About Us Sarasota Animal Hospital is a well-established, one-doctor practice that has been proudly serving its community since 1979.
We are supported by a collaborative team that includes three relief veterinarians, one licensed veterinary technician, and six technician assistants two of which are currently getting their CVT certification, creating a smooth and efficient clinical environment.

Position Overview We are seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our team in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.
This role offers the opportunity to assist with and develop surgical skills, working alongside existing cases within the practice.
Both part-time and full-time schedules are available, with flexibility to support the right candidate.

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree required Licensure in the state/s candidate will be working Ability to show compassion to both pets and their owners Outstanding dexterity in handling animals while performing precise tasks Ability to react quickly and make decisions under pressure about the wellbeing of an animal Strong fondness and understanding of animals Good communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of animal behavior Ability to use medical technologies during diagnosis, research and surgery of animals
