Provide pediatric medical care at the Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center. Manage patient care during 12-hour shifts across a 7 days on, 7 days off schedule.
Candidates must hold an active state medical license and be either board eligible or board certified. Current BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association are required.
Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential Pediatrician position at the Ft. Hood-Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center (CRDAMC) in Killeen, TX. Job Details: CRDAMC is a 24/7 teaching facility therefore will direct, perform, and/or assist in the instruction of other health care professionals within the scope of the clinical privileges and responsibilities granted. The hours will be from 0530 and 2230, Sunday through Saturday, and may include days, evening, nights, weekends, training holidays, and Federal holidays. On Call responsibilities 8,10,12, and 16 Hour shifts (shifts and hours may change depending on the needs of the facility), not to exceed 40 hours a week or 80 hours in 2 weeks. Job Requirements Active Texas State License Board Certified in Pediatrics Shall possess a minimum of 1 year of post residency clinical experience within the last 3 years providing direct patient care in pediatrics.
