The therapist will plan and implement behavioral health programs, including conducting daily group, individual, and family therapy sessions. They are responsible for completing psychosocial assessments and maintaining accurate medical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
Candidates must hold at least a Master’s degree in Social Work or clinical counseling from an accredited institution. A valid state license in Social Work, such as an LCSW or LMFT, is required for the position.
IOP Therapist- Per Diem Horizon Health is seeking a licensed therapist for our IOP program at Boulder City Hospital in Boulder, NV. The IOP Therapist plans and implements programs to meet the social and emotional needs of the patients. The IOP therapist effectively participates as a member of the multidisciplinary team and the unit community relations team.
Complete psychosocial assessment, Plan of Action, and Plan of Action updates within established timeframe. Develops and implements program plans for patient care during treatment and release from the program Conduct daily group therapy sessions. Conduct individual and/or family therapy session. Collaborate with psychiatrist directing the group to ensure quality continuation of care and schedule weekly medication management Demonstrate skill in documentation which meets all regulatory and GHPA-PDOP standards. Files all progress notes in the medical record within 24 hours of the date of Establishes strategic social services program goals by gathering pertinent business, financial, service and operations information Works with divisional and national support staff to ensure that the client hospital realizes maximum value from Horizon services Maintains compliance with state and federal confidentiality laws as well as upholding Horizon’s confidentiality policies and procedures Conducts educational group sessions, displaying good theoretical knowledge of subject matter and effective communication skills in presenting material Other duties as assigned Who we are & where you can make a difference: Quality care is our passion; improving lives is our reward.
