The physician will provide professional emergency medical services, including evaluating patients, making diagnoses, and prescribing treatments. They are also responsible for managing critical medical conditions and stabilizing trauma patients for potential transfer.
Candidates must hold an active, unrestricted medical license and be Board Certified or Eligible in Emergency or Family Medicine. Additionally, they must possess current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications and have at least 12 months of relevant clinical experience.
Description Prairie Band Health Service is seeking an Emergency Room Physician to provide exceptional healthcare services at Blackfeet Community Hospital in Browning, Montana.

Employment Code of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation. In accordance with Title 22, this position is designated as a TIER 2 position. Preference will be given to individuals to the extent required pursuant to Section 22-2-4(B).
Active, Unrestricted Medical License —Must hold a current and unrestricted license to practice medicine in Montana, any U.S. state, the District of Columbia, or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. Board Certification/Eligibility — Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible through the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM), American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM), or in Family Medicine. Active DEA Registration — Required to prescribe controlled substances. Certifications — Must have current certifications in: Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) Citizenship — Must be a U.S. citizen living primarily within the United States. Experience — A minimum of 12 months of relevant clinical experience is required. Federal Security Clearance — Must be willing and able to complete and pass the federal security clearance process.
