Schedule

  • Monday-Thursday: Flexible 8,10 or 11-hour shifts
  • Fridays: 9 am - 3 pm or 8:00 am - 3:00 pm
  • 1
  • Sunday a month: 9 am - 5 pm, when you work on a Sunday, you'll have an additional day off during the week

Position Overview

  • Assessments: Conduct patient health assessments to include patients’ height, weight, blood pressure, medical problems, allergies, reactions, and prescribed medications.

  • Conditions: Diagnose patients’ intraoral and extra-oral conditions including existing caries, endodontic pathology, periodontal condition, prosthetic needs, and any soft tissue abnormalities.

  • Plans: Treatment plan necessary work for patients, ensuring they receive the required dental care tailored to their specific needs.

  • Treatments: Provide the necessary routine dental treatment for patients under your care, including amalgam restorations, aesthetic composite restorations, routine root canal therapy, routine extractions, prophylaxis, periodontal scaling and root planning, and perodontic care.

  • Assistants: Exercise direct supervision of the assigned/designated dental assistants, ensuring efficient and effective team performance.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited Dental school
  • A current New York State license
  • Must be comfortable dealing with pediatric and adult patients
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records software
  • Experience with Dexis digital radiographs

Pay & Benefits

  • $100-120 per hour, commensurate with experience
  • Student Loan Forgiveness – Eligible for up to $50,000 in loan repayment for full-time dentists and $25,000 for part-time dentists through the National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Loan Repayment Program

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited dental school and hold a current New York State license. Strong communication skills and comfort treating both pediatric and adult patients are required.
