The Massage Therapist administers therapeutic massage and bodywork modalities, including deep tissue, Swedish, trigger point, stretching, pregnancy/post-partum massage, acupressure, reflexology and hydro-therapy.
00am and 5:00pm and will be covering all areas of Northeast Ohio down to Akron.
Administer therapeutic massage and bodywork modalities, including deep tissue, Swedish, trigger point, stretching, pregnancy/post-partum massage, acupressure, reflexology, and hydrotherapy.
Interview patient to determine medical history, condition, desired results, and appropriate modality.
Apply selected modality, focusing on areas of discomfort.
Monitor patient's responses to treatment and adjust, changes, or terminates treatment based on feedback.
Document patient information, interview responses, treatments, feedback, and results.
Maintain therapy area in a clean, safe, sterile, and Organizational state.
Order supplies, as necessary.
High school graduate or equivalent plus Graduate of an accredited massage therapy program.
Licensed in Massage Therapy (LMT) by the State of Ohio.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross
For Hospice staff only: Valid Ohio Driver’s License upon hire; per policy 8-175 thereafter.
For Hospice staff only: Proof of automobile insurance coverage with $100,000/$300,000 upon hire; per policy 8-175 thereafter.
One year of experience providing massage services or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
• Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
