The clinical pharmacist ensures the safety and effectiveness of medication therapy for patients across all age groups. They are responsible for verifying drug orders, counseling patients, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize clinical outcomes.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and possess or be eligible for a Virginia pharmacy license. Preferred qualifications include a Pharm.D. degree and completion of an ASHP-accredited residency.
