The phlebotomist is responsible for collecting specimens as requested by attending physicians to support laboratory operations. They also serve in a resource pool to cover critical staffing needs and maintain operational continuity.
A high school diploma or GED is preferred for this position. While formal phlebotomy training is preferred, it is not strictly required.
High school or GED graduate preferred. Formal training preferred, but not required.
