The Opportunity Seeking Emergency Medicine physician assistants and nurse practitioners. Current national certification, DEA, and BLS are required. ACLS and PALS are preferred. Current IN state license is a plus. The Practice – A Dual-Hospital System Methodist Hospital Northlake Campus – Gary, Indiana Methodist Hospital, Southlake Campus – Merrillville, Indiana 350-bed hospital with 21-bed Emergency Department. Annual ED volume of 30,000 with a 30%25 admit rate. All core sub-specialty backup available excluding interventional radiology. Multiple cath lab and OR suites. Comprehensive Stroke Center; patients requiring thrombectomy get transferred. Methodist Hospitals ranked #1 in Indiana for Racial Inclusivity. Requirements

Must hold current national certification as a physician assistant or nurse practitioner, along with DEA and BLS credentials. ACLS and PALS certifications are preferred, and an Indiana state license is considered a plus.
