• Piedmont Pain Management is currently seeking a full-time CMA to join our team in Martinez, GA!
• Under the direction of a physician, prepares patients to be seen in clinic, assists in the procedure suite, and assists with clinical duties as directed.
• Position is full-time, Monday - Thursday, with approximately half of the time assisting in clinic, and half of the time assisting in the procedure suite.

Responsibilities

Responsible for providing a variety of patient care activities under the supervision of a physician, advanced practice provider (APP), or registered nurse in accordance with established guidelines and standards.

Qualifications

Education H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Preferred and Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or completion of a Nursing Assistant program Required or In Lieu of formal education program, one (1) year of medical assistant or related clinical experience is Required Work Experience No experience required Licenses and Certifications BCLS - Basic Life Support Required and Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)-AAMA Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or a similarly recognized certifying organization Required or National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)-NCTT Required Business
