The Registered Medication Associate is responsible for the safe administration and documentation of medications for residents in accordance with state licensing standards. They also monitor resident health, maintain accurate inventory records, and provide compassionate care to support the overall well-being of seniors.
Candidates must hold a certification as a Resident Care Associate and maintain continuing education credits as required by the state. Proficiency in safe medication administration techniques, basic office equipment, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds are essential for this role.

The RMA must be able to lift, stoop, carry, turn, and assist high-risk residents, push medication carts and be willing and able to work a flexible work schedule. The RMA must be able to sit, stand, bend, and move continuously during work hours. Must be able to lift and/or carry 50 to 75 pounds. This position is considered a medium risk for exposure to COVID, as it provides direct care to potential COVID-positive residents.
