The therapist will provide comprehensive, individualized treatment plans and collaborate with assistants and aides to ensure high standards of care. They are responsible for maintaining positive relationships with patients and staff while staying current with occupational therapy research.
Candidates must be graduates of an AOTA-accredited school with a valid driver's license and CPR certification. At least two years of experience in adult rehabilitation and custom splinting is preferred.
Collaboration: Supervise assistants and aides and contribute to case management. High Standard of Care: Stay current and up to date with occupational therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception). Personalized Treatment: Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment, from evaluating and creating a plan of care to treatment and discharge. Relationship-Building: Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients. Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff.
