The Health Navigator provides case management and coaching to help Afghan refugees access healthcare services and insurance benefits. They are responsible for maintaining accurate case files, coordinating referrals, and ensuring clients can independently navigate the healthcare system.
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in social work or a related field, or equivalent work experience, along with strong communication skills. A mature Christian faith and commitment to the organization's mission are essential requirements for this role.

This Health Navigator is responsible for supporting Afghan refugees and SIV holders in accessing comprehensive healthcare services and building client self-sufficiency in navigating healthcare systems. This is a limited-term position funded through a grant agreement until September 30, 2026, and contingent upon funding extension. \n
Mature and personal Christian faith Committed to the mission, vision, and values of World Relief Desire to serve and empower the Church to impact vulnerable communities Able to affirm and/or acknowledge World Reliefs Core Beliefs, Statement of Faith, Christian Identity and National Association of Evangelicals' For the Health of The Nation document Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field of study; or equivalent work experience Cross-cultural experience Strong communication skills, with fluency in written and spoken English Local travel and transportation of program participants required, and use of personal car
Preferred Qualifications: Bilingual in Dari/ Pashto preferred Prior experience in related field, preferred
