The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides personalized, resident-centered care by assisting with daily activities such as bathing, feeding, making beds, ambulation, and vital signs, while respecting each resident’s independence and choices. Working under the supervision of LPNs/RNs, the CNA ensures proper documentation of care and follows physician and nurse instructions in accordance with policies. The role emphasizes promoting residents' safety and comfort, with restrictions on mechanical lift use for CNAs under 18.
