The physician will provide 24/7 in-house pediatric hospitalist coverage, including managing newborns and patients aged 12 and older. Responsibilities also include attending deliveries, performing neonatal resuscitation, and participating in clinical protocol creation and quality improvement initiatives.
Corewell Health is seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and energetic pediatric hospitalist to join our team.
Our team provides comprehensive care for well newborns and those in the nursery, managing conditions such as hypoglycemia, mild respiratory distress/hypoxia, intensive phototherapy, and infection workups.
Additionally, we care for patients aged 12 years and older admitted to the hospital.
We also attend deliveries, perform neonatal resuscitation, and occasionally consult in the emergency department.
The group is also involved in quality improvement, clinical protocol creation, professional development, and other scholarly activities.
The new physician would work in rotation providing in-house coverage 24/7
1.0 FTE, 14 shifts (12 hours each) per month including Day and Night Shifts to provide 24/7 in-house coverage.
No outpatient work
Opportunity to work additional shifts for additional income if desired.

Candidates must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatrics. An unrestricted Michigan medical license and DEA registration are required for this position.
