The Telemetry Technician is responsible for the continuous observation and interpretation of electrocardiographic patterns for monitored patients. They must also document rhythms during emergency situations and perform necessary clerical and receptionist duties.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED and have at least 6 months of related experience as a Telemetry Technician. Completion of a basic dysrhythmia course and annual recertification is required.
