The Medical Assistant performs patient care tasks, including vital sign collection, phlebotomy, and assisting providers during exams and procedures. They are also responsible for maintaining clinical supplies, documenting information in the EMR, and ensuring infection-control protocols are followed.
Candidates must hold a current Medical Assistant certification, a Phlebotomy certificate, and BLS/CPR certification. At least one year of clinical work experience and proficiency in clinical operations and medical coding are required.
