The Medical Technologist performs and interprets standard, complex, and specialized laboratory tests while maintaining quality control standards. They also exercise professional judgment and may assume lead responsibilities in the absence of a supervisor.
Candidates must hold an MT/MLS certification, preferably ASCP, or a BS degree in a biological science with relevant experience. Certification as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist through HEW is also accepted.

Positions are available at either the Beaver or Sewickley campus locations.
Qualifications: for the MT candidate:
MT /MLS with preferred ASCP certification or BS degree in biological science or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience; and ASCP certification. OR Certified as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist (CLT) through HEW OR Already functioning as an MT within HVHS (Grandfathered) as of June 2004.
