The psychologist will conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for autism spectrum disorder in pediatric populations using standardized tools. They are also responsible for integrating clinical findings, preparing detailed reports, and providing feedback sessions to families.
Candidates must hold an active Licensed Psychologist (PhD or PsyD) credential in the state of Maryland. Experience in conducting diagnostic evaluations for autism spectrum disorder in children is required.
Compensation: $130,000 – $150,000 annual salary
Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in pediatric populations Complete clinical interviews with parents/caregivers and gather developmental history Administer and score standardized assessment tools, including ADOS-2 and other appropriate measures Observe and assess social communication, behavior, and developmental functioning Integrate clinical findings and determine diagnoses based on DSM-5 criteria Prepare clear, thorough, and timely written evaluation reports Provide feedback sessions to families, including diagnosis and recommendations Collaborate with clinical and interdisciplinary team members as needed Maintain compliance with ethical, legal, and HIPAA standards
Active Licensed Psychologist (PhD or PsyD) in the state of Maryland required Experience conducting diagnostic evaluations for autism spectrum disorder in children required Experience with ADOS-2 or similar standardized diagnostic tools preferred Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic skills Ability to communicate findings clearly and compassionately to families Strong documentation and report writing skills Educational Qualifications: Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology or a related field required Required Skills: Psychological assessment Diagnostic evaluation Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) diagnosis ADOS-2 administration (or similar tools) Clinical interviewing Diagnostic formulation (DSM-5) Report writing Communication with families Clinical judgment Ethical decision-making
