The Environmental Services Aide is responsible for the daily cleaning and sanitization of patient rooms, nursing stations, and common areas. They must ensure all assigned hospital areas are maintained according to standard procedures and organizational objectives.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to follow oral and written instructions. Previous housekeeping experience is considered desirable but is not strictly required.
St. Mary's Medical Center is currently seeking a part time Environmental Services Aide. The Environmental Services Aide performs daily cleaning and supplying of patient rooms, nursing stations, lounges, lavatories, bathrooms, offices and any other areas assigned in accordance with standard procedures of the Environmental Services and in accordance with hospital objectives.
Previous housekeeping experience desirable, but not necessary. Three months on the job training required to attain proficiency of performance of assigned duties. Ability to read and follow oral and written instructions.
High School education or equivalent required.
