The pharmacist is responsible for providing safe, efficacious, and cost-effective medication therapy for patients in the emergency department. Duties include interpreting medication orders, monitoring patient parameters, compounding sterile products, and collaborating with the medical team to optimize patient outcomes.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy and obtain a Pennsylvania pharmacist license within 90 days. A doctoral degree is preferred, and the role requires strong clinical knowledge and the ability to supervise pharmacy staff.
