The Nurse Practitioner independently examines and treats patients while collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure proper diagnosis and recovery. They are responsible for disease prevention and injury care while exercising professional judgment under the direction of a collaborating physician.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree and possess a current Louisiana state RN and Advanced Practice license. Additionally, certification in an Advanced Practice role from a recognized national organization is required.
