Perform patient admissions, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment evaluations within the MICU. Coordinate care with attending physicians and nursing staff while managing daily rounds and discharge instructions.
Requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited program with valid New York State licensure as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner. Must hold current NCCPA or National Board certification and BLS certification.
Performs a variety of functions and technical procedures necessary for patient admission, assessment, diagnosis, treatment, follow-up, and outcome evaluation. Participates in performance improvement, research, and educational activities.
