The MRI Technologist operates MRI scanners to perform high-quality diagnostic exams. They are responsible for monitoring patient safety and comfort while ensuring the quality of the captured images.
Candidates must have completed a 2-year degree program in Radiologic Technology. Certification as an MR Technologist by the ARRT is required within two years of hire, along with BLS certification within six months.

As a member of the Radiology Patient Care Team, the Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist performs high quality MRI exams. The MRI Tech operates Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanners, monitors patient safety and comfort, and views images of area being scanned to ensure quality of pictures.
