The Medical Assistant works under the general direction of physicians or nursing personnel, reporting to the office manager, and provides healthcare to individuals and families by performing routine clinical procedures as instructed.
Candidates must graduate from an accredited medical assistant program and obtain National/Registered Medical Assistant Certification, or have it already, along with current AHA Basic Life Support Certification.
