The dentist will conduct comprehensive oral examinations, develop personalized treatment plans, and perform a variety of restorative and surgical procedures. They are also responsible for maintaining accurate patient records and educating patients on proper oral hygiene.
Candidates must hold a DMD or DDS degree from an accredited dental school and possess an active, unrestricted state dental license. Additionally, they are required to have CPR/BLS certification, DEA certification, and an NPI number.
Conduct comprehensive oral examinations and evaluations to diagnose dental problems Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients Perform a wide range of procedures, including fillings, cleanings, extractions, and root canals Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care Provide prescriptions for patients as needed Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, including X-rays and treatment histories Refer patients to specialists (like orthodontists or oral surgeons) for complex treatments Ensure all work is compliant with safety, OSHA, and infection control standards
