The Clinical Dietitian assesses patient nutritional status, formulates care plans, and coordinates their implementation. They also provide nutrition education to patients and families while assisting in the development of the hospital formulary.
Candidates must be a Registered Dietitian as required by CMS. One year of healthcare experience is considered desirable for this position.
Provides appropriate patient nutritional care. Assesses the nutritional status of patients, formulates a care plan, coordinates its implementation, and evaluates its impact and effectiveness. Provides nutrition education to patients/families. Approves supplements as appropriate and assists in the development of a hospital formulary appropriate to the patient population.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1. Registered Dietitian Required (CMS requirement)2. One year healthcare experience desirable. Pay Transparency West Anaheim Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $42.00 to $42.00. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
