Performs specialized diagnostic and screening mammography examinations while assisting radiologists with intricate procedures like breast biopsies. Ensures high-quality imaging, maintains patient comfort, and follows strict safety and infection control protocols.
Requires an Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology and active ARRT-R and ARRT-M certifications. Candidates must hold valid Radiologic Tech and Mammography Technologist licenses in California along with BLS certification.
