The Registered Nurse is responsible for performing initial patient assessments, triaging patients based on severity, and administering medications and medical procedures. They also collaborate with the treatment team to manage patient care, discharge planning, and accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Registered Nurse program and hold a valid Indiana nursing license. The role requires at least two years of critical care experience and specific certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ENPC.
The Registered Nurse, Emergency Department is responsible for handling initial patient assessments, performing laboratory work, point of care testing and administrative tasks associated with the delivery of patient care. The Emergency Department Registered Nurse collaborates with physicians regarding discharge plans, creates and educates patients upon discharge from the Emergency Department and works effectively in transferring patients who are admitted to the hospital.
Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse Program by date of hire.
