MidState Medical Center is actively hiring Registered Nurses (RN) for our Telemetry/Stroke Unit.

Our Telemetry/Stroke Unit Registered Nurses have the opportunity to practice at the top of their license, using research, innovation and evidence-based practices.

We offer our Registered Nurses clinical instruction and additional learning opportunities as you complete your Telemetry/Stroke Unit Nurse Residency.

Current Connecticut RN License required within 90 days of hire Graduate of an accredited nursing school BLS certification by the American Heart Association One-year recent Acute Care RN experience preferred MidState Medical Center is an acute-care community teaching hospital. We provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services in general medicine and surgery, as well as a wide variety of specialties. Staffed by our talented team of leading professionals, MidState Medical Center provides a wide array of services throughout the region, caring for patients from birth through the end of life.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a current Connecticut RN license and have graduated from an accredited nursing school. A BLS certification by the American Heart Association is required, and one year of recent acute care experience is preferred.
