The Surgical Care Tech is responsible for cleaning and disinfecting endoscopes and other surgical equipment. Additionally, they perform patient support duties such as transporting patients, taking vital signs, and maintaining the cleanliness of the surgical department.

Operating Room - In our Operating Room at Chelsea, more than 5,000 inpatient and outpatient surgeries are performed annually in the fields of gynecology, orthopedics, ophthalmology, general surgery, otorhinolaryngology, podiatry, plastic surgery, and spine surgery.
Location: Chelsea, MI
The Surgical Care Tech cleans and disinfects Endoscopes and other related equipment as assigned. Performs surgical care tech duties as assigned (i.e., transporting patients, vital signs, performs urine pregnancy test, discontinuing IV’s etc) Performs clerical duties as assigned. Performs housekeeping duties (Cleaning stretchers, equipment, terminally cleaning of the Surgical Department, etc.)
Day Shift - Varying start times between 6am-8am
Status Available: Full time, benefit eligible (80 hours per period – every two weeks)
