Perform routine diagnostic radiographic procedures including abdominal, chest, spine, extremity, and head exams. Maintain a professional environment while positioning patients and collaborating with medical staff to ensure high-quality imaging results.
Capable of all routine diagnostic procedures including Abdominal, Chest, Spine, Extremity and Head.
Current Oregon RT; and License; ARRT registered.
Medium to very heavy physical demand level capabilities required. Must be able to work independently as well as with Physicians, coworkers and to provide service to patients of all age groups.
Essential job functions
Maintains a positive and professional atmosphere for patients.
Demonstrates interpersonal skills necessary in order to interact effectively with patients who may be under physical or emotional stress and gather and exchange patient information with nursing personnel and physicians.
Transfers and properly positions patients for examinations in order to obtain desired radiographic results according to physician specifications.
Provides immobilization as required and protection in accordance with prescribed safety standards.
Trained in using CR readers and capable of digitizing prior films into PAC’s.
Requires current Oregon RT license and ARRT registration. Candidates must be capable of handling medium to very heavy physical demands and working effectively with patients of all age groups.
