Work Shift: Night (United States of America)
Wellstar Medical Group is currently seeking a dedicated full-time Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dynamic Critical Care team. This is a night-shift position (8 PM to 6 AM) operating on a convenient 7-days-on/7-days-off schedule.
The float role offers the opportunity to work across multiple locations, including Cobb, Douglas, Kennestone, and Paulding Medical Centers, with nightly location based on patient acuity and census needs. Primarily scheduled at either Cobb or Kennestone for the week.
As a key member of the interdisciplinary team, you will collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care to patients and their families. Your responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive assessments, documenting histories and physicals, preparing daily progress notes, and completing discharge summaries.
Additional duties involve interpreting diagnostic imaging, formulating care plans, writing orders, and performing procedures such as central and arterial line placements. Effective communication with patients and families to ensure understanding and support is also a vital part of this role.
