The pharmacist is responsible for supporting pharmacological services by stocking, assembling, and distributing medications while supervising support staff. They also monitor drug therapy regimens, provide clinical consultations, and participate in daily clinical rounds.
Candidates must hold a Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE accredited school and possess a current Texas Pharmacist license. A minimum of one year of recent hospital pharmacy experience is required, with PGY1 residency and IV certification preferred.
