The Radiation Therapist is responsible for accurately administering therapeutic doses of ionizing radiation as prescribed by a radiation oncologist. They also maintain patient treatment records, assist with billing, and participate in the clinical instruction of students and new staff.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited radiation therapy technology program and hold an ARRT license and OBMI license. A bachelor's degree is preferred, and BLS certification is required.
