The Medical Assistant is responsible for providing various patient care activities under the supervision of a physician, APP, or registered nurse. They must perform these duties in accordance with established clinical guidelines and standards.
Candidates must hold a high school diploma or GED and have completed an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant program, or possess one year of relevant clinical experience. A Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification and a CMA or NCMA certification are also required.
Responsible for providing a variety of patient care activities under the supervision of a physician, advanced practice provider (APP), or registered nurse in accordance with established guidelines and standards.
H.S.
