The Clinical Coordinator manages a caseload of individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities, providing supportive services and crisis intervention. They are responsible for developing service evaluations, coordinating support meetings, and ensuring all systems are trained on support plans.
A master’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related human services field is required, along with at least two years of experience working with individuals with ID/A and behavioral health needs. Candidates must also possess a valid driver’s license and obtain required clearances.
START (Systemic, Therapeutic, Assessment, Resources and Treatment) works collaboratively with the system of support to improve the lives of individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and co-existing behavioral health needs/mental health concerns. The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for providing supportive services to people receiving assistance through the START Program.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
From time to time the employee will be required to perform additional tasks and duties as required by the employer.
This position will be formally employed by Community Family Advocates. In this capacity, the individual will report directly to Allegheny County Department of Human Services and will carry out day-to-day responsibilities under the direction, supervision, and operational guidelines of the Allegheny County Department of Human Services. While Community Family Advocates will serve as the official employer for administrative and human resources purposes, the role will function as an integrated part of Allegheny County’s team.
