The Addictions Counselor provides direct patient care and monitors dually diagnosed patients within a safe, therapeutic environment. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, documenting progress, facilitating group and individual sessions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor or Associate degree in a mental health discipline, or a High School Diploma with relevant experience in chemical dependency or mental health settings. The role requires the ability to participate in treatment planning and provide crisis intervention.
